In addition to the static laboratory, KP FS&HFA has also set up mobile food testing laboratories in seven divisional headquarters of the province incurring a cost of 162.8-million rupees. The mobile food testing laboratories are equipped with modern testing equipment, which has enhanced the testing capacity of field teams during inspection visits. Through these laboratories rapid tests of food items are carried out, results printed on the spot and handed over to the food business operator. The initiative will help in the provision of safe, hygienic, nutritious and halal food to the public.
